How to make a glass earring to match your Seven deadly Sins cosplay.
Welcome to my little walkthrough of how I made the earring of my Elizabeth Liones cosplay.
Materials used
♥ a matte, blue, half seethrough glass pearl
♥ a golden beeding pin
♥ golden pearl caps
♥ superglue
♥ darkblue, blue & clear nail polish
♥ toothpicks
♥ pliars
Creating the base
First you need to bend the pin into the typical hanging earring (questionmark) shape. once that is done, you have to glue it to the pearl. Take your superglue and put a little bit onto the flat part of the pin and hold it on the pearl until it is dry.
Next you take one of the bigger bead caps and slip it over the pin. Before it reaches the pearl, put super glue on it and push it down. Now it's the smaller caps turn. You have to turn the edge inwards, if it is too flat otherwise. Do the same thing as with the bigger cap.
Finally I brushed on some clear nail polish on the so it won't irritate my skin.
Painting
Take a reference picture an take it slowly. Poor some of the dark blue and blue nailpolish onto a piece of paper and take one of the toothpicks as "brush".
Start with painting a circle. Then paint little triangles on the edge of it. Now you paint a dot in the middle of the circle and when this is dry the only thing to do is filling the space between the dot and the circle with the blue nailpolish.
For the moon you basically need to paint a 3/4 circle and a smaller one inside. Since you used the dark blue polish for the outlines you have to use the blue one for filling up the empty space.
The stars are the easiest part. You basically need to paint curved diamond shapes with the dark blue nail polish. Again fill it up with the blue nail polish. Repeat for all of them.
